I-Click originated from a graduate thesis project in Montreal, Qc. The project focused on using photography as a tool to better understand student perspectives of school and learning. From there, the project has been transformed into a visual storytellikng program and adapted to meet the needs of multiple communities across different cities.
The I-Click Photography program is dedicated to amplifying youth voice through visual storytelling. Youth are led through a process of identity exploration, narrative development, and learn how to use the professional camera to represent their narratives.
Over the course of this program, youth engage in a series of workshops to learn about photography and guide the development of their narratives. Ultimately, I-Click Photography is a platfoprm to empower storytelling and seeks to garner a more genuine understanding of our community, and all of it's members.
We invite you to celebrate the passion and dedication our youth have shown to their projects by joining us at our exhibition events and following Willow Youth Projects.
