Kindness isn't Hard

Someone smiles
It's not always true
Not all smiles are genuine

The world wasn't kind
No tolerance policies for violence
But it's not always enforced
They lie
It's not always safe

Not much we can do
We have to pay for therapy and meds
Not everyone can pay, not much being done

If random strangers can be kind, we can too
We might as well try

The world would be safer with kindness
Be kind to one another
